Mobile Projection Unit presents new, experimental, site specific outdoor projected video works throughout the NorthWest by use of a mobile studio. MPU is both an artistic collaboration between Sarah Turner and Fernanda D’Agostino, and a curatorial project. Through both of these avenues, MPU provides new media artists tools, software, mentorship, and access to outdoor spaces in order to create and present these works to a public audience. MPU has been funded in part by the Regional Arts and Culture Council, Precipice Fund, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the Calligram Foundation, the Portland Art Museum, The Ford Family Foundation, & Northwest Film Center.
